Natixis digitalizes its crossborder payments with SWIFT gpi
Natixis is one of the first banks to use SWIFT gpi (global payment innovation) services as an ordering, beneficiary and intermediary bank.
The application of this technology is part of Natixis innovation approach, which aims to modernize international payments and meet the needs of its customers by improving the speed, transparency and end-to-end traceability of crossborder payments” explains Anne-Cécile Delas, Head of Global Transaction Banking.
More than 140 banks are currently involved in the SWIFT gpi program, and nearly 40 of them are in the production phase, exchanging tens of thousands of payments for their customers each day.
With more than nine million payments (gpi) traded over the network, SWIFT gpi has become the new standard for cross-border payments.
